Rust is more well known than D at least. There were plenty of 
languages mentioned on the reddit-thread as well. I even found a 
new system level language I had not heard of:

Appears to be implemented in Go, and is positioning itself 
between C and C++, or so they say.

I expected to see F# in there, too, but nope!  (And basically _no 
one_ knows about J...)
