[digitalradio] TARA Skirmish: Digitalradio Challenge !
The upcoming TARA Skirmish allows the following modes :PSK, RTTY, Hell, MFSK, MT63, Throb, ASCII, SSTV, Packet" Rules state that sub-modes do not count as separate modes , so Olivia is MFSK. Would ASCII not be RTTY? So anyway, here is the Digital Radio reflector challange. Anyone that can submit their logs showing at least FIVE contacts in each of the above 9 modes, will be listed on the digitalradio website as members of the "Skirmish Sweep Honor Roll" . Honor system is in effect but file captures of you QSOs are welcome. Need a Digital mode QSO? Re: [digitalradio] Do we really need to know?
Andy, I agree with Ed. I am always interested in what the other ham is using, especially for digital modes. Hard to find a Commodore 64 user any more though... 73 Buddy WB4M - Original Message - From: Ed Davis To: digitalradio@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, April 12, 2006 9:08 PM Subject: Re: [digitalradio] Do we really need to know? Andy, I see nothing wrong with including a description of a ham's computer in the equipment description. It has more to do with the digital process than either their transceiver or antenna. The more you know about the other ham and his/her station the more there is to talk about. [digitalradio] Good HF conditions
Bands must be in good shape, I have lowered my rotating dipole to the ground due to thunderstorms , but even with it laying flat on the lawn I am picking up 2M0DSG (Scotland) on 20 meters PSK31.
