This seems like a VERY nice application, the Multpsk integration is
good and so is the SWL database.

Is anyone using it with a Kenwood TS-2000? DX Buddy recognizes my
TS2000 and works fine except that it appears to cause a mode beep
(e.g. U for USB in CW every second ! I guess I could turn off beep
functions in the TS2000 but the beeps are useful at other times.

[digitalradio] Multipsk 4111

2008-12-25 Thread mhz14071
Hello
I am getting started with Multipsk and have the latest 4111.
I have the following questions
Should I use it as is. or should I go ahead and register the softwar
for the additional features ?.
I intend to log and use the features of DXLabs.
My system is a Lsptop PC, Navigator interface, Icom Pro 3.
Besides the documentation. Does any one have, or is there a simplified
sequential setup procedure to get this software running and cross over
to DXLabs?

Hello Stan,

Should I use it as is. or should I go ahead and register the softwar
 for the additional features ?.
You use it, first, in the free version first, it is widely enough for all
Ham modes. Afterwards, if you need the licensed functions (mainly
professional modes decoding as SYNOP/SHIP, ACARS...), you could ask for the
licence.

Besides the documentation. Does any one have, or is there a simplified
sequential setup procedure to get this software running and cross over
 to DXLabs?
There is nothing else that the Help (there is a presentation of Multipsk in
http://f6cte.free.fr but it is much more about modes) .
Notes about the help in Multipsk:

a.. To bring up the text help (contextual one), click on the right button
of the mouse, with the focus over the mode button ALE400, for example).
b.. Also use the button hints (wait a fraction of second over a button).
Now for precise help about DXLabs you have a Yahoo group. You have also a
Yahoo group for Multipsk users (don't hesitate to ask questions in both
groups).
