Re: [digitalradio] Article for QST on ID

Kurt brings up a good point. It would seem the this subject would require
wide dissemination.

Problem is QST is limited in the number of subscriber vs number of hams who
enjoy the digital modes. I myself am not a member of the ARRL so I don't
read QST and since they do not sell it on the news stands anymore, article
would not help myself or other who do not support ARRL.

Maybe put a entry into wikipedia where anyone on the net can read it, plus
information can be changed as need for clarification or updates.

 Just my opinion.

All,

I have the same problem using HRD 4.0 w/SP4 and DM780 on my Dell Latitude
C840 (2.2Ghz CPU) with 512Megs of RAM and WIN XP Pro. I'm using a home made
sound card interface cable coming from my SB Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA sound card.

 All,

Noticed I can't multitask when CQ'ing / transmitting with the latest version

system issue or does it have something to do with HRD?

AW: [digitalradio] Article for QST on ID

2009-07-09 Thread Siegfried Jackstien
Hi simon . and all the others here and on the bands .. That is a great idea
. I found lots of info and servicemanual out in the web . but if I would
upload it to a so called ham wiki . I would surely step on somebodys feets
:-) . but the idea is great . all hamstuff should be available in one
startpage . available from any ham without restrictions .. And ALL hams
should upload or interlink their instructions . servicemanual homebrew
projects etc to that page ..

But there would be thousands of links .. So lots of text to read ... try to
google something about hamradio stuff ... sometimes a few hits and sometimes
thousands of them ...,

Just my 2 cents

I think there's a lot of info out there on the web, putting it all into a
Ham Wiki would seem to be the logical choice.

Nope. I have several yahoogroups subscriptions, but all go to the same
email addy.

Will send Mike's email, both copies, back to him, with the header data when
I figure out how to extract it.
