If you're talking about digital signals in general, well, there is some expensive SWL stuff like Hoka and Skysweeper. There used to be some modems such as the Universal Radio M-7000; and you can find those on ebay sometimes.

And these 70% of signals you can decode by Winwarbler (DXLab) - using local spots and filters in SpotCollector with audio announce - you need just drink a coffee reading newspapers, and waiting when computer tell by Joe's voice which DX on the band... And no need any brain and experience - just computer connecting to radio via soundcard - paradise... -- Best regards 73 Vlad UA6JD gadgets to your www.qrz.com examples http://www.qrz.com/db/ua6jd just double-click and install You wrote : > First, I would estimate that 70 per cent of all HF are PSK31 > signals. 15 per cent are RTTY and 5 percent Pactor. > So identifying 90 percent is easy. Re: [digitalradio] Best Software
Ham Radio Deluxe does most but not all the modes and even HRD cannot detect the bizarre and uncommon tone combinations and bandwidths. It is too much to expect one software package to do it all but HRD certainly makes a grand attempt. First, I would estimate that 70 per cent of all HF are PSK31 signals. 15 per cent are RTTY and 5 percent Pactor. So identifying 90 percent is easy. Of the remaining 10 percent, the following applications now feature RSID ... Multipsk Fldigi DM780 RSID will automatically identify almost all of the remaining 10 percent (plus RTTY and PSK) IF the station uses RSID. RSID does not detect JT modes or WSPR. So if u want to learn to I'd ALL modes, learn these two and let RSID handle the rest. You will then be able to ID 99 percent of digital modes intended for hams Andy via blackberry -Original Message- From: "vrygood10" Date: Wed, 02 Sep 2009 12:14:59 To: Subject: [digitalradio] Best Software Hello All, Is there any software out there that will identify and display all hf digital signals..
