I am going to try to get on this weekend and call some CQ's but well Football takes up some of the time hi. CU on CHIP64, for long haul and poor condx CHIP128 works slower but seems more robust. Some other commands, F-12 returns to receive after the text in the buffer is complete CTRL-T Starts the transmit from the buffer CTRL-X Immediate Stop command Place a * for the first char in the buffer allows for type ahead while in receive Type in the buffer area without the * first starts transmit Ron W4LDE - Original Message - From: Joe Ivey [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Friday, September 16, 2005 2:23 pm Subject: Re: [digitalradio] Re: new digital modes CHIP64 and CHIP128 by IZ8BLY Thanks Ron, I just had a QSO with W6JVE in AR on 7.090 from my QTH in North AL. From what I can tell Chip64 is close to MT63. I have played around with the program and found a few tricks. * will allow you to type in the transmit buffer while receiving. (Shift 8) ^T will key the rig. (Shift 6 and T) These will also work in some of Nino's other programs as well. Looks like we have a new toy! Ron W4LDE Leigh L Klotz, Jr. wrote: Ron, It doesn't have to be published on the ARRL site, just published. RE : [digitalradio] Olivia
Ron, if I was sending a message telling that Pactor should not be used on the bands, do you think those peoples would be afraid ? No. So why dont you continue using this mode that you like as long as there is not a «formal» message from the FCC? There will always be a jealous om to send you such a message. Our frequencies are flooded by pactor, rtty and those guys do not fear the FCC. You should keep going with Olivia. We are with you, Gilles ve2ft -Message d'origine- De : ronchap [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Envoyé : 5 février 2005 17:01 À : digitalradio@yahoogroups.com Objet : Re: [digitalradio] Olivia Right now it's between me and the FCC. I don't want to start a big fight with the FCC. They can come down on you very hard, I learned prettty much in the past to be nice when dealling with such things and they pretty much toss it in the recycle bin. If other people start getting on their case they will just get PO's at me. Do what you want woth the modes. Use the modes like I said untill you get a Registered letter. 73 Ron KA2HZO - Original Message - From: RussellHltn To: digitalradio@yahoogroups.com Sent: Saturday, February 05, 2005 4:55 PM Subject: RE: [digitalradio] Olivia I received a Cease and Desist Letter from the regional office to stop transmitting both Olivia and WinDRM.
