[digitalradio] Callsign info Fill-in

2009-09-08 Thread mhz14071
I am using Multipsk v 4.14 with DXLabs.
Commander is Connected
Spot C: Is ON.

Initially I have Freq, Mode, Ur RST, My RST, R, S, filled in.
When I click on a station in the rx window, The callsign is placed Under CALL.
However Name, Locator, QTH. remain empty.

Is there a way to get these fields populated from DXLabs?

Items such as SEARCH , Number which could provide pertinent information about
the present contact require additional intervention.

[digitalradio] CW Contest logging program

2009-06-28 Thread mhz14071
I am unsuccessful in getting N1MM to work with my setup.
I am looking for comments, on other contest logging programs
that would work using USB to Navigator with internal Winkey

[digitalradio] Connectors

2009-05-22 Thread mhz14071
Off topic, however I need some help with my connectors.
I have my station connectorized with power poles and a Rigrunner distribution
pannel.
I find that with the Red and Black pair on the supply end and the corresponding
Red and Black pair on the load end, it is possible to
short circuit the powersupply if the connector pair is displaced to the left or
right.
I have tried using a -one up one down- of the tabs on the front of the
conncctor pair to form a key, but when this is done on one end, the
corresponding end cannot be configured in a matching manner because of the
connector shell shows two tongues, where they shold be a tongue and a groove,
therefore this connector pair cannot be mated together.
I immagine I could remove the tongues and use super glue to hold one pair of
connectors together. Does any one have any ideas or a better solution as to how
I can solve this problem.

[digitalradio] Multipsk 4111

2008-12-25 Thread mhz14071
Hello
I am getting started with Multipsk and have the latest 4111.
I have the following questions
Should I use it as is. or should I go ahead and register the softwar
for the additional features ?.
I intend to log and use the features of DXLabs.
My system is a Lsptop PC, Navigator interface, Icom Pro 3.
Besides the documentation. Does any one have, or is there a simplified
sequential setup procedure to get this software running and cross over
to DXLabs?

[digitalradio] Remote CW over the internet

2008-07-28 Thread mhz14071

My setup is basically a PC with digital mode software, Interface and
Radio.
I am experimenting with Log-Me-In software to operate my base station
PC over the internet. At present I can operate the digital modes such
as PSK over the internet from the remote PC. In the case of CW, I am
looking for for a means of passing CW audio from the RX back to the
remote location.
