Same thing happened to me when I reassigned a "used" port number to a USB
virtual serial port. The rig could use the port but the rotor could not.
I had to clean out all the virtual serial ports in the registry and start
over.

[digitalradio] HRD will communicate FLDIGI and WSPR will 'not' via same port

2010-01-04 Thread graham787
HRD will communicate FLDIGI and WSPR will 'not' via same port
(not at the same time of course)
Odd problem has occured using a USB to Serial cable for the FT-897-D
HRD will communicate normally and control the rig ..

BUT

Fldigi and Wspr .. now will not communicate ..all the settings look the
same ... Fldigi will address a second usb/serial cable alocated com-4 to
operate the ptt .. as will other progs
WSPR as dose Fldigi reports cannot communicate

Close then down .. open HRD and the link works normaly .. same cable .. same
settings ..

All progs used to work with the serial cable ... and ideas ? dose HRD
have some form of auto baud routine thats masking some setting ??

tnx - G .
