Re: [digitalradio] MFSK beacon
Most do not use the mode. Some of us do, and noted what you said, but had no comment. If we see/read the beacon , we will let you know. Not responding to an email doesnt mean one has no interest. Re: [digitalradio] MFSK beacon
yo! I will listen after your beacon if you are turning your antenna to the north. 73 de LA5VNA Steinar Alves wrote: Well, I'm getting out of this list, nobody seems to be interested by my experiments. Ciao, F4EOB.

Here, if the people gets home after the band is closed to Europe, there is no chance to report anything at all. I would advice to take it easy and let a weekend pass, at least... Re: [digitalradio] MFSK beacon
Alves, That is a shame, as I, like many, are monitoring your progress. Have you considered running an omni antenna and increasing output power - then you will not be limiting yourself to listeners in some particular direction, whilst still keeping radiated power in any direction the same, thus preserving the validity of your experiment. 73 de Brett VK2TMG On 11/23/06, Alves [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Well, I'm getting out of this list, nobody seems to be interested by my experiments. Re: [digitalradio] MFSK beacon
Hello Alves, The QRPP experiments are very interesting. It is perhaps just a bit difficult to hear you signal from over the pond due to the bad conditions (here in Paris I did not hear your signal but I have nor a good antenna nor a good location...). A beacon is particurarly interesting for other hams because you can appreciate propagation. For information, for all the Multipsk exotic modes (PSKFEC31, PSK10, PSKAM, PSK63F, PSK220F (+DIGISSTV), CCW-FSK, MFSK8, THROBX, DominoF, DominoEX, PAX2, CHIP, Voice...), I propose the QRP frequency: 14075 Khz USB (AF around 1000 Hz), at 17h00 UTC. But PSE, add the RS ID at the beginning of the CQ call so as to be identified immediatly in mode and in frequency. 73 Patrick - Original Message - From: Alves To: digitalradio@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, November 23, 2006 7:52 AM Subject: [digitalradio] MFSK beacon Well, I'm getting out of this list, nobody seems to be interested by my experiments. Re: [digitalradio] MFSK beacon
some of us, non-US hams who do not need to argue all the time, have gone listening for you. Just like in real life, there sometimes is a lot of QRM to copy through.
