2008-04-01 Thread Ross Biggar
Can someone please enlighten me what is the lowest db that WSPR can expect a
decode?
I am decoding down to -28 is this good, bad, or ugly?

Ross,

Can someone please enlighten me what is the lowest db that WSPR can
 expect a decode?

Joe Taylor would know, but I believe the limit is -33db.

1840 4 -33 0.4 10.140184 GI8HXY IO64 37-9.5
2002 2 -33 3.0 10.140192 OZ1PIF JO65 25 3.8

The figure represents the signal-to-noise ratio within 2500hz bandwidth
seen by the sound card.
