Project justification is to upgrade Lync 2010, end of mainstream support 4/12/2016. Enable new features which may allow older technologies to be sunset. This solution as client is part of Microsoft Office 2013 – want to upgrade server infrastructure to take full advantage of features available in the client product. This aligns with strategic objectives Microsoft Office 2013 Strategic Collaboration Tool. *Description of Work to Be Performed and the Specific Skill Sets Needed: *Consultant will be knowledgeable in Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business as subject matter expert assisting team in architectural design, sizing, documenting configuration setup, and implementation both non production and production environments. Ideal candidate will have integration experience with third party vendor audio video products. *Demonstrated skills as individual and/or part of team:* • Plan, apply, & validate upgrades of vendor software minimizing service interruption. • Deployment of applications following established procedures & processes. • Consult with team leads supporting deployment & planning applications across multiple environments. • Solve the problems and reported issues. • Participate in assignments that require technical & systems knowledge, and function as member of team contributing to service provision. Consultant familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts and practices desireable having worked with enterprise ticketing system for work and or issue resolutions with defined Service Level Agreements (SLA) & Operational Level Agreements.
