Facilitates the development and ensures delivery of a Technology program
through the coordination of major milestones, issues and risks based on
the Technology Architecture roadmap. He/She works with the project
managers by measuring and monitoring progress to ensure that the
business capability is delivered as planned through the target
technology platform on time and within budget, and that it meets or
exceeds expectations.
Other responsibilities include bi-weekly Status reporting, creating
management decks, required governance documentation, reviewing
milestones with project/program managers for each work stream as well as
dashboard and metrics reporting.
Strategic Functions
a. Work to support strategic planning in developing and implementing
executive scorecard and performance metrics
b. Develop and supports key metrics and risk reporting.
c. Deliver reports in a form required by key stakeholder, executive and
senior management.
d. Implements enhancements and tailoring metrics and analysis packages
to specific audience.
e. Produce regularly scheduled reports and metrics as well as responding
to ad hoc reporting analysis
f. Manage and analyzing complex high volume data to define opportunity,
risks, gaps, and variance and drive decision-making reports to management.
g. Deliver information to support decision-making presentations and
communications to technical and business groups that include financial
models to compare the costs and benefits
Project/Program Management Functions
a. Clear understanding of full project methodology Software Development
Project Life Cycle and Infrastructure Project Life Cycle.
b. Manages all aspects of the project to ensure satisfactory and timely
completion of deliverables and overall project.
c. Drives full project lifecycle in platforms: JCAPS, PowerBuilder,
Assembler, Lotus Notes to current technology platforms
Collaborative Functions
a. Utilize collaborative tools on a daily base - SharePoint, Microsoft
Excel, Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint and Word.
b. Key interface with all technology groups: Software Applications,
Infrastructure Engineering, Technology Operations.
c. Drive and supports program governance and process initiatives.
d. Provides leadership
Tool Knowledge
a. Proficient with SharePoint as a collaborative tool – designing and
delivery
b. Proficient with Microsoft Excel as data mapping, consolidation and
reporting tool – designing and delivery
c. Proficient with Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint and Word –
scheduling and status delivery
