The Java Developer/Programmer will perform software development in line with team objectives, policies and procedures, follow through on design, development of specifications, coding, testing and maintenance of high quality application software, tools and development projects. We are looking for a senior consultant with 10+ years experience who can pick up the work with a brief transfer of information. He/She should be able to work independently while coordinating with other team members and departments. They need good experience with Unix, Java/J2EE, and web development in an agile environment and solid experience working with databases (Oracle, SQL) and have front end GUI experience with AngularJS/D3. Shell scripting will be preferred. Candidates should have good written and verbal communication skills, and a flexible and team oriented mentality. Our client has a global team and sometimes it will be required to work off hours. They also pair program and work closely as a team, so will need someone who is comfortable with this.
