I haven't tried it, but you could check out 
https://github.com/pranavrc/audio-transcribe

It's a python script that uses the Google API, so you'd need to be comfortable 
with that.

[Discuss] WAV to text?

Is anyone on this list using Linux to convert spoken-word audio files
to text? I have several hours of audio (just one voice) that needs to
be transcribed, so I'm looking for automated ways to do it directly
from the audio file (i.e., not using a microphone & speaker).

Dragon Premium on the PC, and Dragon Dictate on the Mac, can
supposedly do this (with an unknown amount of training), but if anyone
has used a Linux solution successfully, that would be great to know
about.
