[tdf-discuss] LibreOffice bug: ERROR Prop Res DLL not loaded
Hi, here is a bug that I have encountered several times: When opening certain files (odt and doc formats) in the latest versions of LibreOffice (on a Windows XP computer), the file opens with an error message: ERROR Prop Res DLL not loaded This message appears exactly 4 or 8 times, depending on the file, meaning that you have to click OK 4 or 8 times before you can edit the file. After that editing the file works fine until you close it and open it again. Then the same thing happens. This bug does not occur when opening files that were created in LibreOffice. I've attached a sample file for which this error occurs. For this particular file you get the error message 4 times. Has anyone else encountered this? Any solutions? -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to discuss+h...@documentfoundation.org Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.documentfoundation.org/www/discuss/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
[tdf-discuss] Thank you for using OpenOffice.org
Hi, this is the second time I've installed LO. Previously I installed 3.3, and now 3.3.1. Both times, at the end of installation, I was directed to a page called Thank you for using OpenOffice.org, which is here: http://update.services.openoffice.org/ooo/index.html?cid=920900 The developers might want to fix this, so that the completion of LibreOffice installation will lead to something more appropriate, like http://www.libreoffice.org/. :-) Seth Kadish -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to discuss+h...@documentfoundation.org Archive: http://listarchives.documentfoundation.org/www/discuss/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***
