この乱数とはどういうことなのか調べてみました。
Word2013では文書比較時に発生させる乱数のようです。Word2013にオン・オフがあるかはわかりませんがLBO5.0のWriterでこの機能を取り込み、ユーザーがオンオフできるのでしょうね。

  みんさま、こんばんは
  
  小笠原さん、ご提案そのものには問題がないと感じましたが、
  真ん中の "Ignore _pieces of length" が「長さの違いを無視(_P)」と
  体言止めで訳されています。これに合わせ体言止めにするか、こちらを
  「長さの違いを無視する(_P)」にするかでしょうか。
