[OSGeo-Discuss] Trouble with Mapguide OS and MapGuide Studio Enterprise
Hi, I'm following the getting started guide for mapguide studio and Performing the exercises. I can import the resource data fine but When I click refresh in the preview panel to see the parcels layer in "Set the Style for a Polygon Layer" step, I get a blank page. I've searched through the archive but couldn't find material and Autodesk's discussion group seem to support mapguide enterprise. Don't know where else to turn.Any help is much appreciated. _ If you like crossword puzzles, then you'll love Flexicon, a game which combines four overlapping crossword puzzles into one! http://g.msn.ca/ca55/208___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[OSGeo-Discuss] distributed image processing support?
I'm increasingly seeing more and more need for an open framework for doing image processing in a distributed, batch-oriented manner. I'm thinking along these lines: - ability to reference some input image data - ability to reference some output repository - ability to specify a processing operation, e.g. mosaic, reproject, balance, etc - ability to monitor job progress I know a couple companies who have systems that do some things like this, but all are proprietary and nothing's very generalized yet. I know too of OGC's Web Coverage Processing Service (WCPS), but I don't think it has achieved any adoption at this point, and in any case I'm looking for something that can be worked on in the open (and ideally more RESTful). -mpg ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Just to clarify, I sent you to the same place Arnulf was mentioning. Any time someone has a systems or web-site related request, they are welcome to create a support/trouble ticket entry as Arnulf noted. Just be sure to set the "component" as "SAC" for Systems, or "WebCom" for web site related issues - then those groups will find the ticket. About how long will it take SAC to make a decision? Re: [OSGeo-Discuss] use of color palettes with vector data
Hello Markus, Now I will use the grass user list as you suggest. Thank you for your answer; as i'm a recent grass user, could you confirm this is what to do to get your update: svn checkout https://svn.osgeo.org/grass/grass-addons grass-addons #Subsequent updates: svn up Thank you Best regards Stéphanie Markus Neteler a écrit : Hi Stéphanie, (this is best asked on the GRASS user list). Last Saturday I have added in d.vect: support for z height (geometry) colors, so no more need to add an attribute table and such: http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/grass-dev/2008-May/037911.html You can easily colorize 3D points/lines/polygons: d.mon x0 d.vect -z lidar1map3d zcol=gyr (the r.colors color tables apply; use the GUI instead of CMD line of course). The update is in GRASS-SVN. I have point vector data (for example, altitude), and i'd like to apply a palette automatically, on the symbols representing the value points (like circles). I saw i can define a new column GRASSRBG in the dbf table associated to my vector layer. But it's not very easy, because i have 1 points in my area. I could set values of the palette with rules on the z column, but it would be nicer if existing palettes could be chosen.
