[OSGeo-Discuss] FW: UK-Ireland OGC Forum Meeting - 17th July with OGC President and CEO Mark Reichardt
Could I request to pass this information to your colleagues who might be interested in attending the UK-Ireland OGC Forum Meeting on 17th July. Best wishes, Suchith Dr Suchith Anand Centre for Geospatial Science Sir Clive Granger Building University of Nottingham Tel: (0)115 846 8408 http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/cgs/cgs_suchith_anand.html http://www.opensourcegis.org.uk/ http://ica-opensource.scg.ulaval.ca/ -Original Message- From: Jackson Mike Sent: 24 March 2009 11:34 To: uk-ir.fo...@lists.opengeospatial.org; 'Mark E Reichardt'; Athina Trakas; Martin Klopfer Subject: UK-Ireland OGC Forum Meeting - 17th July with OGC President and CEO Mark Reichardt Dear all, OGC's President and CEO, Mark Reichardt, will be in the UK in July for an OGC Board Meeting and has requested a meeting with UK-Ireland OGC members and others interested in the OGC activities. This is also seen as a good opportunity to breathe new life into the UK-Ireland OGC Forum which has not met for over a year and to appoint new officers. Jeremy Morley, UCL, has offered to host the meeting at his central London (Gower Street) location. This will be a great opportunity to discuss with Mark the role of regional organisations within the OGC process, be briefed on the latest OGC developments and to discuss how the UK-Ireland OGC forum can contribute to the OGC process and interoperability developments in our part of the world. To aid planning would you please email me (cc Jeremy Morley and Athina Trakas) if you plan to attend and we will ensure that you receive up-dates on the meeting plans. If you wish to put your name forward to play a role as Chairman, Secretary, Events Organiser or Membership and Outreach Officer please let me know. The precise roles and responsibilities are one of the issues that will be on the Agenda. Please forward this email to any colleagues that you feel may be interested in attending - current membership of OGC is not required. With best regards, Mike Jackson. RE: [OSGeo-Discuss] Problems with OSGEO Trac (MapServer)
Thanks Frank. It came back to life about 15 minutes after I posted. Sometimes a message to the list seems to be all that is needed to get an application working again (in time to embarrass the poster...) You can file tickets for the OSGeo System Administration Committee in the OSGeo Trac instance at: http://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo However, that might not work if trac is broken. :-) You may also be able to find someone able to look into issues most quickly by asking in #osgeo or #telascience. Suchith, I'm writing to let you know that (although I haven't been in contact!) I'm still planning to come to the conference on June 22 and do the MapWindow workshop. Have you got a schedule together yet for this? I wonder if I should give a short talk too during one of the paper sessions? What are your thoughts?
