[OSGeo-Discuss] Video Bolsena 2010 OSGeo Code Sprint

2010-07-23 Thread Just van den Broecke

Hi,

I have created a video covering the OSgeo Code Sprint/Hacking event held
in Bolsena, Italy last June 6-12. See

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Vjx06Rlols

This year I have tried to depict the developers and their work. There is
still a video from last year which has (too much) emphasis on
scenery/music. You can still watch the 2009 video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mxox3AsjH6Qfeature=related

Bolsena http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Bolsena_Code_Sprint_2010 is a great
event and I am grateful to have been part of it. Thanks Jeroen
(Ticheler) for organizing!

best regards,

I'm trying to get an understanding of which FOSS4G projects
are currently (or are planning to) support OGC Observations
and Measurements as well as other OGC Sensor Web Enablement
 related standards.

We see this as a strategic direction that we'll need to explore.

Can you please reply to the list with urls to your documentation?

 Many thanks in advance.

[OSGeo-Discuss] Grass

2010-07-23 Thread Susana Arciniegas
I found tool Tools for point layer (Herramientas para capas de puntos)/
Interpolate Raster (Muestrear capa raster) in SEXTANTE, it is similar to
Surface Spot of ArcGis, I need to found it, in Grass GIS 6.40ORC6, but I can
not.
The tool interpolates heights for points in a feature class from a surface (ex:
DTM). The point heights (interpolate heights) are stored in a field that's
added to the input feature class.
Thank you for your answer
