Re: [OSGeo-Discuss] Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin Qgis

2013-06-20 Thread Jared Kibele
There are instructions on configuring this plugin on the author's
blog.
Rashad may have addressed your first problem. I was able to select layers
but I ran into problems related to the 1.0.9 version of the Sextante plugin
(as mentioned on the author's configuration page). I'm going to try going
back to Sextante 1.0.8 and see if I can get it to work.

Re: [OSGeo-Discuss] Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin Qgis

2013-06-20 Thread Rashad M
you may ask on QGIS list[1] where most of qgis users hang out. This will
your answer rate exponentially.

To try answer your question:

QGIS plugin's allows to access map layers (raster/vector) which are loaded
in the canvas. Is there any raster map loaded in the canvas before opening
the plugin?

My name is Sohee Kang. I’m in charge of attracting participants to the
Korean government's Ministry of Science, ICT & Future Planning's Open
Source Software World Challenge 2013.
This is the 7th competition. USD $31,000 in total will be awarded to
winners in the international division of this open source software
competition.

I’m really sorry for bothering you, but we would feel highly honored to
have your students as participants.

*International participants are exclusively allowed to submit any open
source software developed within one year, even if they got a prize from
another competition with it. In addition, even projects over one year old
will be accepted by our judging panel as well, if it has been significantly
improved recently.*

Please visit our website www.ossaward.org.

Our registration deadline is August 4th.

The final submission deadline is October 6th.

I hope you encourage your students to participate. I’m quite sure that this
will be a great opportunity for them. Every team that submits its completed
project will get an official certificate issued by NIPA of Korea. They have
only to submit project document, source code and demo video in
English, or provide
the project URL including all. We’ll wire the award money to the winners.

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact me at
ossawa...@gmail.com .

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Sohee Kang

[OSGeo-Discuss] Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin Qgis

2013-06-20 Thread Mark Quilter
I am trying to use "Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin" in Qgis 1.8.0.
When I installed the plugin its Icon was placed on the toolbar and it
opens the tabbed form. The form comes up but I am not able to enter or
select a raster image. Orfeo and Saga tools work under the Sextante
(1.9.0) Toolbox.

Are there any suggestions as to how I can get this plugin to function.
