Carolyn is the Geospatial Data Program Manager for the Boston Planning 
and Development Agency, focusing on urban planning, environmental and 
historic conservation, zoning, and 3D modeling. To facilitate 
decision-making, transparency, and community engagement in local 
government, she regularly creates and publishes Web maps using open 
source software such as Mapbox, CartoDB, and Leaflet. As a member of the 
Boston Local Organizing Committee and the Program Subcommittee, Carolyn 
helped put together the International FOSS4G 2017 conference this August.

Ben is system architect and project manager of Harvard WorldMap [1], an 
open-source infrastructure to support collaborative research around 
geospatial information.  Ben is also leading a team to build an 
open-source global registry of web map services (Harvard Hypermap [2]) 
and another to develop the Billion Object Platform [3], which supports

Mikel has been a long time collaborator and contributor to Open Source
and Open Data geospatial projects including being one of the earliest
contributors to OpenStreetMap and providing leadership throughout its
history. He currently leads the Community Team at Mapbox and was
formerly a Presidential Innovation Fellow at the US State Department
helping to drive OpenStreetMap adoption across federal agencies. He is
co-founder of the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, co-founder of Map
Kibera and GroundTruth Initiative and current Board member of the
OpenStreetMap Foundation.
