[OSGeo-Discuss] viewing ecw images in GRASS 6.4 RC1
Hello to all the people involved, I'm experiencing troubles in loading an .ecw image in GRASS 6.4. When I try to import the file using the raster import (r.in.gdal), I can't find out the extension, while I've seen that in other previous versions of the software it was possible to do so. Many thanks for the answer, Richard, well the .ecw did not appear in the list of supported formats (but .ers appears). However, I've seen that gdal support .ecw, and moreover that people have imported .ecw succesfully to GRASS. I'm using Windows XP on my computer, and I've also the ER viewer installed.
