I totally support the nomination. Micho is a great advocate of OSGeo. At the OSGeo Spanish Language Local Chapter has done a great job to support and encourage initiatives in Latin America which is one of the outstanding issues of OSGeo. 2013/7/16 Micho Garcia > Thanks Jorge, > > is a pleasure to me to be nominated as OSGeo Charter Member. > > I am working in OSGeo from some years ago but almost always in the Spanish > Chapter and in the spanish-speaking world doing presentations, courses or > workshops with the OSGeo software and always evangelizing about the > benefits of the OSGeo Foundation. Hi JP, I live in Barcelona and unfortunately there is no open geocoding service in Barcelona. In the group of geoinquietos (http://www.geoinquiets.cat/ or http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Geoinquiets_Barcelona) we are trying to get the ICC (http://www.icc.cat/) the official agency open the geocoding service they have.
