Ah, wait a moment, maybe I misunderstood your issue. Did you successfully connect to SN? In that case it doesn't reappear but it's also not worthwhile to write it down because it won't be used again. The only time when you would need that again is when you unregister your device from your SqueezeNetwork account and in that case my understanding is that SN will use a new one anyway on the next connection. It's not really a device PIN but something SN generates for the pairing session. So far Foobar has been perfect for the way I build playlists. Admittedly I only have 7,000 songs, but I can load every single song in Foobar, sort or filter them and then select the ones I want and put them in a playlist. Foobar allows you to save them in several formats, one of which is m3u for SB. I built a playlist last night for songs I have done by multiple artists. Michael I haven't been watching the Beta forum, what's coming up for the Controller that might be exciting. My entire setup has been so stable since about the middle of the 7.3 beta, I hate to change anything unless it's something really sexy like the Controller headphone activation was. Tried ethernet cables for everything at once, still the same problem. This exact same network setup has worked perfectly well on all wireless with 2 different modem/routers. [slim] SB2 dead???
Hi, I'm quite a big fan of SB and own 3xSB2, 2xSB3 and 1xDuett with 2 receivers. Since few weeks one of my SB2 does not work anymore. Something around the network seems to be broken. I tried configuration via DHCP, fixed IP address and WLAN. DHCP does not get any IP address (I have in my network a fixed range and a DHCP range), WLAN cannot find WLAN router and using fixed IP address does not find slim server. The SB2 has FW 40. I tried factory reset but I'm unsure if it wokred (something flashed so fast I had no chance to read it). Has anybody any idea what I can try or do? That's the squeezbox of my son and he is at the moment very frustrated... Kudos to the team for stepping back and addressing the controller complaints we have seen growing like an epidemic here lately. If it's FW 40, then it's actually an SB1. Try temporarily wiring it to eliminate wireless as a problem. [slim] Canceling Folder Repeats
I have organized my classical music items in separate Folders, i.e., different performances of a symphony in individual Folders. However, when I play such a folder, my Squeezebox Classic repeats the folder after the initial play-through. I have looked in the Settings for a means to cancel this Folder repeating process, but I don't see the option anywhere to do so. Is it possible? What am I missing? This should be done automatically already. The SB's broadcast a discovery packet to find servers, servers respond.
