I seem to have trouble playing the BBC (from France). I usually tune to Gilles Peterson in listen again mode over the week-end. I can do it with players other than iPhone or iPeng. Re: [slim] Playback problems
It might help to provide a few more details. What's your network setup? Is the Receiver hardwired or connected via wifi? Any other Squeezes, or just the one? I've been having similar problems since upgrading to the latest official SBS release. It seems to be a wifi issue for me, as I've noticed a few of my Squeezes that are connected via wifi will see their signal strength suddenly drop below 80%, and since they are all synced when one stops so do the others. I've moved my Touch to a spot that gets a clear signal from my router, and the other one I unsynced. Seems to have cleared up the problem for now, and I'm unsure if the timing was coincidental or something new has entered my network environment that might be causing the problem. -- GeeJay 2-SB3s, 1-Duet, 1-Touch...and an iPeng convert. Re: [slim] Announcing SqueezePad - the first dedicated iPad App to controll your SqueezeBoxen !
Hi, I'm having some trouble with a Spotify playlist on the squeezepad app. It seems as if it cant handle playlists larger than 100 songs. If I select song number 101 in the playlist, it plays the first song in the list, if I selct song number 102, it plays song number 2 etc. The only way I can play the songs above 100, is to select song number 100, and then advance with the next button. Hi Wiigian, this unfortunately is a known problem of the Squeezebox-Server (though there it only happens for tracks > 200) :( (the bugreport is about albums, but later they found out it affected playlists as well). Or are you seeing/using the playlist in the dedicated playlist pane on the right (there is a small button on the right, which will show you the playlist) ? Re: [slim] SB release 7.5.3: Unreliable. Anyone else?
I've recently noticed some weirdness with 7.5.3, but haven't been able to reproduce it reliably. 1) getting occasional brief (< 1 second) dropouts when streaming FLAC over wired ethernet. Usually it occurs in the last 30 seconds or so of a track. Once it starts doing it the dropouts occur more frequently. Sometimes transitions to new tracks aren't smooth either, as if the new track starts too soon. If I restart SBS these problems go away. 2) Last night I had an SB2 and Touch (both wired) sync'd, and suddenly the SB2 stopped playing. Again, everything was fine after restarting SBS. Still need to try to isolate problems and check logs. -- aubuti aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85474 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
