Re: [slim] Squeezeplay cant see SBS
Thanks for replying. Using the excellent SqueezePad as the client, I can see the UDP broadcast getting to the W2K3's NIC using Wireshark but Squeezebox Server is not responding. My assumption is that something is blocking the broadcast message reaching SBS and as such it is not responding - of course it may be responding and the outgoing message is being blocked. There is no third party firewall software on the box and TCP/IP Filtering is disabled. If I try to open Windows Firewall it says it can't because another program is using ipnat.sys (I don't have NAT enabled in RRAS). -- Cavey Cavey's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8657 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86598 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Weird problem squeezebox classic
For a number of weeks, I have been unable to power my SB Classic on without using iPeng. I have tried every sequence from turning it off from the remote first to turning it off from iPeng first. When I power off either way, the dimmed out date and time will show for a while, then disappear. Once it has disappeared, I can't turn it on by using the remote, only iPeng. I have no idea what might have caused this or how to resolve it. -- gshall gshall's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14573 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86746 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Announce: Album Catalog Creator v3
Hi SilverRS8, I really ACC and use it regularly. Keep up the good work. Two things: - The QuickRef CSV generator is missing a quote (Chr(34)) before the YEAR in the headline row. It's on line 2194 in V3.4.hta. - It would be nice to have an option to create a web page that does not require the server to be present/accessible. This would mean downloading all the artwork and creating local JPGs. This would allow me to copy the html to a web server I can access from anywhere on the Internet. -- Henry66 Henry66's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38863 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74452 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Thanks for adding the option - I thought I was missing it. I'm a bit dull as to who does what to whom when. The NAS is pretty well powered - Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2160 @ 1.80GHz. The load on the PC seems to come after I get the ACC completion message. So the slow down must be in the retrieval of the art from the NAS. Should I be picking another art option in ACC? Re: [slim] Announce: Album Catalog Creator v3
dasmueller FYI It took 51 minutes for the ACC 3.4 to complete (NOT including generating the FULL Catalog). I'm using Windows XP - Pentium 4 2.8ghz - 1GB ram. The PC is wired to a router which is wired to a NAS that runs SqueezeServer and holds all the files. Total Tracks: 36,496 Total Albums: 2,634 Total Artists: 1,119 All tracks are FLAC. Not sure of all this but I think my big problem is when ACC finishes and then tries to generate the Full Catalog. At this point my PC just grinds and grinds - I assume trying to get all the cover art into the Full Catalog as the Quick Ref is already done and displayed in another browser window. That's a lot of artI'm not listing any tracks and not choosing large art option.
