Correct. It's just a workaround that delivers the PC Soundcard output to a stream. Definitely not a long term solution. Whilst Squeezelite is not officially supported most of my use during testing was on Squeezelite, albeit at one stage I had a Boom, Touch, Receiver and Squeezelite all synced. Re: [slim] Amazon Prime Music!
I have found a workaround way to do this using http://www.streamwhatyouhear.com/ and then tuning LMS into the resulting stream. Basically this software turns the sound card output of your PC into either an mp3 or WAV/PCM stream. Windows only. I think it should be possible to run it on the same Windows PC as LMS as it uses entirely different port range. Note - on install it crashed on my W10 box but after a restart it was fine. Currently listening to Amazon Prime on a syncd pair of Pi's running PicorePlayer which is streaming from a browser session on PC *Vortexbox LMS 7.8 music on QNAP TS419p via NFS* iThingys/iPeng/Tablets *Living Room* - SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 - > Celestion Ditton F20s - Zone 2 -> Sony TA FE 320 -> Sennheiser RS 130 & B P7 *Office* - RPi -> Sony TA FE320 -> Celestion F10s / SB3 -> Onkyo CRN 755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - SB Touch -> Topping TP21 -> AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - Amazon Fire TV (SB Player) -> Topping TP20 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101706 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
