Re: [slim] Announcement - ickStream open beta release on Squeezebox !
Is there any further word on the negotiations to allow SiriusXM streaming content on ickStream? I assume there would be loud proclamations and hosannas if it were actually implemented, but I'm just wondering whether there remains any hope that it will happen "someday", or has the plan completely died? Re: [slim] PUBLIC LIST Distant Shared Libraries
markolino72 - I strongly suggest you edit or delete your initial posting. Not only will you otherwise be harassed by users having fun with your transporter. But you might actually get into legal problems, as you allow others to download your music files. Even in Switzerland you are not allowed to share copyrighted material with people you don't know. Re: [slim] PUBLIC LIST Distant Shared Libraries
To do it you must forward the port 9000 in your router to the address of your Logitech Media Server Host Computer normally 192.168.1.X here is my IP for who wants to connect to my Library I'm not sure you want to do that. Unless you don't mind being woken up by fully blasting music in the middle of the night. Not to mention the fact that LMS was not designed to be run on a public network. It could easily come with a whole lot of security issues... -- Michael ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

[slim] What will happen when Logitech decides it doesn't want to keep paying for the domain?
Hi all, I'm a SB owner and lover. I love the open source solution, and I know the community is huge and active, which is tremendous. However, now Logitech has stopped all production and sale around these product, they might well decide to give up on the slimdevices domain, and probably stop the mysqueezebox service... What would happen to all the content of this forum then ? Re: [slim] Don't Stop The Music
I think I may have found a bug in DSTM. It works fine until I listen to a radio station, and then it won't work again unless I restart LMS. It seems that a variable may get set when a radio station is found last in the queue and then it is never reset after switching back to local files or a streaming service. Fix should be available in an hour. Thanks again! -- Michael ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
