I think you can use the LMS CD player plugin, if your drive is connected to the machine which is hosting the LMS. But this is not the case for me. [slim] How can I tell what format and bit rate Tidal is streaming at?
Is it possible to tell when playing music from Tidal Hifi whether the stream is flac vs mp3? I've not been able to find this info anywhere, though I'm guessing it is hiding in plain view. 2nd question: is there any reason a Raspberry pi board running Squeezelite (on Moode) would be unable to play Tidal flac files at native resolution? Pressing back took me nowhere, it sticks on the account settings page. However when I unplugged it and tried again, it took me to the main settings page, where I could select LMS. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, at least I knew that option should be there!
