This is the way I'm going to go. I have setup and run another LMS server, and the Spotty app works as it should for me. The server is on a Windows10 desktop, so it ain't permanent, but it is useful for trying things out. This second server is also scanning the NSA310, so I'll see what the local library is like when it's finished. Thanks Michael for your hard work - it is truly appreciated. Thanks everyone else for the tips and pointers. [slim] Backups and upgrades
All I am running a DS214 play with LMS 7.9.0 - 1453293926 installed from Synology. Is it worth upgrading to the latest nightly via pinkdot's LMS repack? If so, is there any easy way to backup all the prefs and plugin settings apart from copying the relevant folders as noted in the settings page? More details. 1. Since it is first post you can't post proper URLs - so add some spaces between "http:" and "//" 2. If your URL has https and not http - then you'll need LMS and LMS 7.9 3. This URL http://radios.rtbf.be/pure-64.aac plays OK for but it is AAC so if SB3, Classic, Boom etc - you need LMS.
