Re: [slim] Why has spotty disappeared from plugins?
[10:54:18.0276] EV: error in callback (ignoring): Can't call method "error" on an undefined value at /usr/share/perl5/Slim/Networking/SqueezeNetwork.pm line 183. It seems your LMS has a problem reaching mysb.com. Did you try to simply restart LMS? As historically the My Apps menu was all pulled in from mysb.com, even local plugins could fail if that connection failed. Does it mean that I should update to 7.9.1 to get a better Spotty experience? Yes, the latest 7.9.1 would improve some aspects of the Spotty UX (eg. searching within a track). -- Michael ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Why has spotty disappeared from plugins?
On my WebUI, Spotty now doesn't show under My Apps (see attached). Oddly enough I can play Spotify playlists (like the one on the right) without a problem. But I can't get to spotify on the WebUI. If I click on "App Gallery" it takes me to mysqueezebox, where Spotify no longer shows. 24135 Also - no such problems in the Squeezer UI, Spotty shows up just fine there. Configuration is in my sig. Re: [slim] squeezebox3 troubleshooting
A very long time ago, my SB3 stopped working and it turned out that one of the daughter cards had worked loose (not the wifi...maybe the display? It was a while ago). There is a multi pin header like the GPIO header on a Raspberry Pi. Try pulling the daughter card off, then reseating it. Good luck. reverber's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108252 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Why has spotty disappeared from plugins?
Ugh. Not sure why my last message deleted itself. My current issue is that spotty doesn't show as an app on the WebUI. Hence I can't play new stuff. My spotty play lists still work. On the squeeze app on my tablet shows Spotty. Just not the WebUI on my computer. ...pablo Server: Virtual Machine (on VMware Workstation 14 Pro) running Ubuntu 16.04 + LMS 7.9 System: SB Touch --optical->- Benchmark DAC2HGC --AnalysisPlus Oval Copper XLR->- NAD M22 Power Amp --AnalysisPlus Black Mesh Oval->- Totem Element Fire Other Rooms: 2x SB Boom; 1x SB Radio; 1x SB Classic-> NAD D7050 -> Totem DreamCatcher + Velodyne Minivee Sub Computer audio: workstation --USB->- audioengine D1 -> Grado PS500e/Shure 1540 pablolie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108320 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Squeezebox Classic: Wifi, WPA2-PSK AES
Whenever I have had an SB3 issue, it was DNS rather than wireless security related. Typically assigning a fixed IP address on the router fixed it. Is the timeout until it doesn't work always the same? If so the advanced config options on the router may allow u to correlate the issue with a timer. ...pablo Server: Virtual Machine (on VMware Workstation 14 Pro) running Ubuntu 16.04 + LMS 7.9 System: SB Touch --optical->- Benchmark DAC2HGC --AnalysisPlus Oval Copper XLR->- NAD M22 Power Amp --AnalysisPlus Black Mesh Oval->- Totem Element Fire Other Rooms: 2x SB Boom; 1x SB Radio; 1x SB Classic-> NAD D7050 -> Totem DreamCatcher + Velodyne Minivee Sub Computer audio: workstation --USB->- audioengine D1 -> Grado PS500e/Shure 1540 pablolie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108271 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] IMPORTANT: Stop forwarding your LMS ports to the internet!
Yes did that. Had to do it on a new virtual instance of linux server install. Openvpn. Everything works out fine. Gave up on dd-wrt and openvpn server install there. Made it work but the router became unstable (100%cpu). Actually a better solution than exposing LMS direct to internett IMO. bambadoo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65282 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107165 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
