[slim] Confused by Alarm Clock Behavior
Am I the only one that thinks the alarm clock function is a bit moody? I can't figure out its behavior at times. It may be because I have a Touch, a Boom and a Radio synched and their alarm behavior is different. What I do know -and it's easy to replicate- is that, after the alarm goes off, if I push "Turn Off Alarm" on the Touch's touchscreen, after a few minutes it plays some weird soundbite (not the playlist I have the alarm set to play). Aside from that, the reliability of the alarm seems so-so. This morning it didn't go off at all even though I think it should have (was in too much of a rush then to check settings, will do later). I kinda wish there alarm configuration didn't have quite as many options, I just want a simple, reliable alarm clock. I know it's called Smartphone for most, but I happen to like to wake up to a playlist, have it play for 30mins, and then turn itself off. Same thing 5 days a week. ...pablo Server: Virtual Machine (on VMware Workstation 14 Pro) running Ubuntu 16.04 + LMS 7.9 System: SB Touch --optical->- Benchmark DAC2HGC --AnalysisPlus Oval Copper XLR->- NAD M22 Power Amp --AnalysisPlus Black Mesh Oval->- Totem Element Fire Other Rooms: 2x SB Boom; 1x SB Radio; 1x SB Classic-> NAD D7050 -> Totem DreamCatcher + Velodyne Minivee Sub Computer audio: workstation --USB->- audioengine D1 -> Grado PS500e/Shure 1540 pablolie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110612 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Have you selected the Digi+ as output device in the piCorePlayer settings? These can be accessed by pointing your browser at the IP of pCP. You'll need to the select the "Squeezelite settings" tab. From there, you can select your output device. Re: [slim] Some Rasberry Pi / LMS questions for a complete beginner.
Hello again Hit a pronlem. DigiPro+ has been assembled, but I get no output, either optical or coaxial. LMS sees the piCore player. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. mandryka's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53967 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110533 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
