[slim] Slim Devices Squeezebox v3 - FREE to good home

2019-09-23 Thread robswift

Long used and loved original Slim Devices Squeezebox v3 looking for a
new "forever family".

The devices works great and I have the original wires, remote, and
manual.

I finally had to turn it off when my Windows Home Server running the
software died.

Anyone interested? I just ask you to cover any shipping costs.

Thanks!
Rob.

Re: [slim] How do you backup playlists?

2019-09-23 Thread mandryka

Thanks -- but most of the music in my playlists is from qobuz (basically
I make playlists of all the new releases each month of the music I'm
interested in)

Re: [slim] flickr plugin on mysqueezebox.com

2019-09-23 Thread Michael Herger

does anyone know why the flickr plugin was pulled from my squeezebox.com

The API had changed so much it didn't work any more. Unfortunately we
don't have any working relationship with flickr any more. This would
need to be implemented by a 3rd party.

[slim] flickr plugin on mysqueezebox.com

2019-09-23 Thread agentandrew

hi all

does anyone know why the flickr plugin was pulled from my squeezebox.com
and if there is some kind of an alternative to it?
I really miss displaying my latest pictures while my Radio's are in
standby.

Thanks in advance for any hints to bring flickr screensaver on Radio
back.

Andrew

Let's take an example and assume "D:\Music" is your root music folder
and you have a structure under this that's something like
"D:\Music\[Artist]\[Album]\[Songs]".
For absolute file locations in your playlist the song entries would be;

D:\Music\[Artist]\[Album]\song1
D:\Music\[Artist]\[Album]\song2
D:\Music\[Artist]\[Album]\song3

For playlists using relative file locations in the root music folder
"D:\Music\[Playlists]" the song entries would be;

[Artist]\[Album]\song1
[Artist]\[Album]\song2
[Artist]\[Album]\song3

In this manner I can copy my entire library (\Music\*), including
playlists, from a Windows PC to my android phone and not have to change
a thing. The relative position of the song files does not change across
platforms. I've not tested with *nix or Apple platforms, but I would
guess they would work the same as Android.

This is what happened to me. Can you explain how to use relative music
file locations in playlists?
