I think we're talking about two different types of VPN. I'm using privateinternetaccess.com for encryption/geolocation between ISP and everywhere else. I've kept reading that, shouldn't this not be a problem as long as LMS is password protected ? And also, could anyone then please point me in the direction of instructions of how to use the VPN method ? I don't know if I can even use it, I ALWAYS use a VPN (privateinternetaccess.com), so another VPN to the server somehow, my technical knowledge atm I don't know how it would work. Are you trying to connect remotely? Access has been restricted due to malicious persons gaining control of Squeezeboxes and playing music at very loud volumes and at different times. (Yes, people do that and it happened to me). You should not forward the ports any longer and if remote access is required then connect via VPN. Qobuz goodies in Squeezepad on IOS 13 - the window�s too small!
Using IOS 13.1.3 with the Qobuz app in Squeezepad. Something really annoying has started to happen. If I go to Qobuz goodies to read the booklet associated with the recording, instead of opening a full sized safari window, it opens a window inside Squeezepad, which is too small. [slim] New Music: display quirk?
I added some music to my server this AM. Each tag was updated to make sure it would appear at the top of the New Music folder. Interesting observation: Immediately after the scan, the new music appeared in the New Music link for the classic Squeezebox server interface as you might expect. However, later on, maybe an hour later, all the new music had vanished, replaced by what was previously the "newest" music. I'm sure it's some sort of setup issue. I recently completely reinstalled Squeezebox to get away from a RAM drive. Of course, it works fine without the RAM drive but I haven't spent years pouring over all the setup options like I did prior to the reinstall. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Maybe this has something to do with daylight savings time? Try using Denatured Alcohol. It works better than Isopropyl. I had a Harmony remote that began to get sticky and Denatured worked much better.
