jouteur wrote: > right sure, but how did you know which URL to find out... The playlist is a list created by broadcaster of 3 possible playable URLs. All 3 work. Also now https is the preferred URL but sometime the http version of same URL still works. If your LMS is not up to date and/or you do not have up to date SSL/TLS libraries/modules on your OS - https URLs can fail. Using a http URL in this situation often is more successful on LMS but only if http URL actually works. Also you can test the URLs with a player (e.g. VLC, ffplay, mplayer) on a PC. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112062 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

You could try the non https version of the URL - it seems to play OK http://www.radioking.com/play/bachata-player/348334 bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112062 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

This is a https URL which means you need an up to date local LMS and possibly up to date OS. So more details on your setup (e.g. OS, LMS version, Player etc.) will help. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112062 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

It's true, two GND pins in the 12-pin block of the Noritake VFDs have the same potential, so in this specific case it wouldn't hurt to short them together, but as a rule of thumb I would always avoid that :) PN me if your Boom / Classic / Transporter display has issues!
