Re: [slim] Playing music on schedule (not alarm)
Well, my problems are nearly solved. Here is my last wish. Can you program the alarm so that when the alarm goes off it shows "Now Playing" rather than the alarm intrface? Since I am not using this as a true alarm, I would like to be able to see my regular screen with media info and pictures, etc. LovelyBrook's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70083 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112255 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I upgraded to 7.9.3. All is well and now I have the 240 option. The 0 option is helpful. Thanks everyone. [slim] Playing music on schedule (not alarm)
Apologies, I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere but this forum is so huge, I can't find it with a search. Can't find it with Google search either. My LMS system if finally almost PERFECT! Love it. I have 7 various types of players all over. Now I would like to schedule certain types of music to play automatically when I wake, eat dinner, etc. I foresee setting up something like an alarm, but that plays for a few hours on schedule. Sometimes I sync groups, sometimes not. That can be figured out. Alarms don't work because you loose the interface with a big "Sleep" or "Shutoff" choice on the screen and they don't play for longer than 90 minutes it seems. Maybe there is a way to tweak this. If others have mastered this functionality, would you share? Maybe there is a plugin? Thank you in advance. Re: [slim] Tidal v1.2 Plugins stopped working - are there alternatives ?
Michael, After digging around it seems that Roon might provide an alternative connection between Tidal and Squeezebox Touch. But, assuming Tidal via Roon would actually work, this approach would require a paid subscription to both Roon and Tidal. For now I am happy with Tidal via mysqueezebox.com and will continue using that. Thanks again.
