Re: [slim] Free to a good home: one Boom, two SB3s, all working (you cover shipping)
What or where is your location, then I can see if it makes sense that I would like one of the items sent to me. And if it makes sense, I would like to give the Squeezebox Boom a good home. Re: [slim] Walk with me
Hi Michael, Just wondering if it would be possible to tweak/improve "Music, Walk with me" a bit please? It seems that whenever queue is transferred from sync'ed player ( both by grab or transfer options) original sync is changed/broken. It is particularly painful when previously sync players are in one room (2 SB Radios in stereo pair).. One of them is stopped but other is still playing and now synced with transfer destination. I have noticed that when testing "Material Skin - Move queue to another player" feature which is apparently based on "Music, Walk with me" code. Both indeed work in same way. I have suggested here https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?109624-Announce-Material-Skin&p=981009&viewfull=1#post981009 adding extra steps to remember source sync before transfer and restoring it after. I guess same behavior which is present with "Group Players" plugin which gives option to restore previous sync when dismantling Group. Hope that makes sense and its possible. Cheers! 3x Squeezebox Touch, 3x Squeezebox Radio, SqueezeCommander, Logitech Media Server Version: 8.0.0 Jaca's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58187 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103738 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Sure thing. I meant all to one person but I didn't say that upfront, so I'll take care of it. One SB3 spoken for, will PM you. bruinboy wrote: > Im happy to provide an SB3 a happy home. > > Please let me know how to pay for the shipping.. > > Best, > > S > > dbwat's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10294 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112543 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Free to a good home: one Boom, two SB3s, all working (you cover shipping)
Im happy to provide an SB3 a happy home. Please let me know how to pay for the shipping.. Best, S QUOTE=dbwat;981040]hi all, I'd like to give three of my Squeezeboxes to someone in the community if you'd like them. Boom: I purchased the Boom new in December 2009. It sounds great no sign of the speaker/surround problem Ive read about here. It was used daily for background music in our kitchen. We never cranked it to 11. The display is dimming a little across the middle horizontally, but not badly. The knob is sticky. Original remote and power cord are included. Two Squeezebox Classic/3 units: I bought both of these on eBay, one in 2015 and the other in 2018. Both include working power supplies and remotes and work great. They are Logitech-branded. Everything's been deregistered from mysqueezebox.com I don't want money for them. Will ship them in the US, and would ask that you pay shipping. This can take the form of you buy the label from me to you with your preferred carrier, insurance option, delivery method and send it to me, I slap it on and voila you've got tunes. The only other thing I ask of you is a little patience: just need the right box and shipping materials to appear at my house. Right this second I don't have anything I'd want to safely send them in, but boxes and packing materials show up at our house daily here in the end of days since we order so damned much stuff. So bear with me as the right materials get to my door to protect them, especially the Boom. Note that I haven't left the SB community, I just pared back, as documented right here in this forum. I'm still rocking a Transporter in my living room as our main SB and DAC. Hope these SBs are helpful to someone out there. bruinboy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62436 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112543 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
