Agree on Foobar. Copied and edited from another thread: How do you apply Track AND Album tags using Foobar? Which tag would smart gain read in a multi album playlist? Foobar 2000 > ReplayGain -> Scan as albums (by tags). It takes ~10 seconds per album on my PC. In a multi album playlist smart gain would read "Track gain" tags. [slim] replay gain recommendations?
Can anyone recommend an accurate replay gain utility? Maybe I'm not using the correct settings, what are the best settings to use? I have been using beaTunes for a while but I find the results less than satisfactory. When I turn on replay gain for tracks (which is what I have been using for writing the settings) on my LMS Touch , there are still many tracks whose volume are much higher/lower than other tracks. What happens is the next time I start Sqeezeplay, I choose the language, then I get this : 31331 If I click Continue, it tries to connect to mysqueezebox, which gives me the message "Problem connecting". I also tried to copy the settings (the Squeezeplay preference folder) from the working MacBook Pro to the non-working iMac, but I still get the same results, ie seeing the player in the web interface, but nothing on the Squeezeplay interface. Their server is looking for a http referrer field starting with "http://www.tamilradios.com"; If not present then it asks to login. LMS does not know to do that. However, someone could write a plugin to do it I expect. Hi I have a radio stream that I am trying to play using the LMS/Squeezelite or MySqueezebox environments.Using a browser window, this URL streams without any issues. www.WEBSITE.com/embed/index.php?src=http://xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:8002/1 when I play the URL http://xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:8002/1 in MySqueezebox or LMS/squeezelite, I get a 401 Authentication error and log has the below entry Slim::Utils::Scanner::Remote::__ANON__ (193) Error: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for, http://xxx.xx.xxx.xxx:8002/1: Connect timed out: Appreciate any guidance on how to get this protected radio stream play on Squeeze devices.
