[slim] Remotes suddenly not working on either Squeezeboxes
Hi all This morning (I am in Denmark) I encountered a strange problem. I have 2 Touches and 1 Boom connected at the moment. I have two remotes. This morning I did what I always do, picked up my remote and turned on my kitchen-Touch. Nothing happened. The device did not react at all. That was strange. I changed the batteries, which did not help. I picked up my other remote from the living room, but that had no effect either. I then tried both remotes on my bedroom-Boom, but that has no effect either. I can turn both devices on manually and through the app Squeezer. By why has my physical remotes suddenly stopped working? lnrvdk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66964 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114676 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] Problem playing back audiobooks
Just to wrap this up, I was able to convert some of the problematic files. The first batch I converted to 44.1 Hz/mono and those played on my squeezebox classic, but iPeng on my iPhone did not play those. I converted the rest to 44.1/stereo and those played on both. It's more fun than setting up Custom Browse & Custom Scan! :p And it's a bit of a challenge, as I have mentioned before, to get it to work with 'player names containing Unicode characters' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?105198-ANNOUNCE-AirPlay-Bridge-integrate-AirPlay-devices-with-LMS-(squeeze2raop)=974389=1#post974389). And I also said that > But once set up, it works really well. Which it does, and I wouldn't want to miss it. (Same goes for Custom Browse & Custom Scan.) As to removing the "generate" option: You're the expert. But some of your plugin users are not. I struggled with the installation. But with your help, I managed to get it running smoothly. I'm depending on both AirPlay Bridge and the Custom Browse / Custom Scan Combo, so thank you. Re: [slim] New Logitech Squeezebox 2020 Edition
It appears as a player LMS while playing. Not when offline. The reason is that playback must be initiated by voice so having a permanent pseudo player makes no sense. No plugins are needed - just try a Stream command and the player will magically appear. philchillbill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68920 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111449 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
