All my tracks have an Artist tag. I don't use the Album Artist tag, all completely blank. I don't use the Compilation tag, not "1" or "0", all completely blank. In LMS any album that doesn't have all the tracks with the same Artist tag is classed as a compilation. That's fine by me, it doesn't bother me one jot. I don't browse by compilation. I changed "Various "Artists" to "(compilation)" at LMS > Settings > My Music tab > (below) This is what I see when I browse to a compilation Album at > Home > New Music > Album xxx. (below) And what I see when I browse to Home > New Music, if it's a compilation album. I performed the obligatory search for this question but I found answers dating back 10 years that I thought MIGHT be incorrect now? What's the best way to tag compilation albums (FLAC, MP3, and a few other formats) so that in the LMS interface they appear as - ? What are the best settings in LMS 8.1.2 to achieve this? In an Macbook Pro 2019 with MacOSX 11.4 , I cant see the artwork SP provides multiple screensavers. You seem to be using a text only screen saver.
