Re: [slim] LMS 8 on ReadyNAS
On the ReadyNas apps tab do you have the Logitech Squeeze server? If so turn it off and uninstall it from there. Then install the logitechmediaserver_8.2.1~1628312519_amd64.deb from the apps tab. You won't see the Logitech app anymore but you can install newer versions through the upload function. Re: [slim] Testers wanted
If anyone wants to try the plugin just let me or d6jg (Jim) know and one of us will send you a link to a repo. The Juke Radio part is done - although there is some finessing that could be done in one area. The plugin is called "Radio Now Playing" rather than "Juke Radio" because I have long wanted to combine a few (ideally all) of my radio stations plugins into one. I am not there yet - but this plugin currently has a couple of other station groups in there that I did for other people in the past but never got around to releasing because I really wanted to avoid making more one-off plugins. There is still a way to go to make this new plugin able to replace all my others so I have held off putting it into the wild ... but this is the moment for a bit more exposure. Re: [slim] Testers wanted
35687 Just so you know, Echos with screens will show the cover-art and metadata when you ask what's playing currently. Plus, it's the *FLAC *variant that plays natively on the Echo so it sounds as good as it gets on the newer models  It's zero setup other than just selecting the skill in the Alexa app (when invited). Do Jim a favour and give it a try ! +---+ |Filename: nowplaying.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35687| +---+ philchillbill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68920 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115087 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

One thing, though could someone point me to instructions on uninstalling LMS from my ReadyNAS? I would like to start with a fresh install as my current one that has been upgraded a number of time over the years seems to be having issues right now. I am hoping a clean install will fix this. I am definitely going to look into the Pi option though. Re: [slim] Squeezebox Classic V3 dead?
You guys were right. I placed a bid on a local second hand SBv3 with power supply. Once I got it, I connected the "new" power supply to my own SB, it powered on instantly. I have used my setup since 2007. I never had any issue whatsoever. The reason I "acted drastically". :) slimmert's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7104 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115078 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
