Re: [slim] LMS not connecting to MySqueezebox - no TIDAL content in index build
I was going to reply earlier but was thrown off by "index build" and not sure if my response would have been relevant. There have been a couple instances where the mysb.com login credentials looked right, but when they got reented and lms restarted, Tidal access was restored. I was also going to mention to make sure mysb.com has properly registered with Tidal. but...sometime when you just take a big leap back and incremental steps forward to rebuild, you fix the issue with even knowing what it was :) Jim Redrum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116145 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
Re: [slim] LMS not connecting to MySqueezebox - no TIDAL content in index build
I've been having a busy day. My TIDAL content is back again! I've no idea what I've done to achieve this! I decided this morning that I would focus on something else and would apply the Version Comparison patch to my three Squeezebox Radios. This required me to remove LMS from my PC and install a lower version (7.7.0). That all worked fine. I then uninstalled AVG TuneUp as suggested above. Then I unistalled LMS v 7.7.0. I uninstalled TIDAL from MySB then changed my TIDAL and MySB passwords. Next I disabled Windows Defender firewall. I logged back into MySB and reinstalled TIDAL there with the new password. I then reinstalled LMS v 8.2.0. I entered my required folders under the Library tab, and Account credentials and then ran an index rebuild. No TIDAL content - and I was still seeing errors in the server log about failing to log in to MySqueezebox. I then went to the web interface and re-entered my MySB password there and hit Apply - this forced an index rebuild in the LMS control panel, and lo, it has included my TIDAL content now. Does this make any sense to anyone?... Re: [slim] Maintaining an Old System
Okay so this might be a little too early to tell but initial results are quite good. I put in 2 of the 3 wifi bridges that I intend to put in. The 2 that have them have stayed online since Saturday when I put them in (about 44 hours as of writing this). The 1 that I didn't replace went offline in that same time. No reboots necessary for the freshly wired units. I am having a different issue that spotty occasionally comes to the end of a track but doesn't proceed to the next track in the playlist. I think unrelated, I'll make another thread in the 3rd party apps about it. 1 Touch 5 Receivers 3 Controllers 2 Radios Making streaming music in my home a full time job!
