Re: [slim] New modified SqueezeAMP batch?
On the GitHub it lists different supported displays like the SSD1322 What is the recommended display for the build? That fits in the case and provides the most functionality? bengaldave's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4605 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116084 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I was curious about equipment and speakers etc. I have 2 places that already have speakers so will connect to them. bengaldave's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4605 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116084 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

An alternative is one of these. https://hifimediy.com/product/sabre-9018-uae23hd-usb-dac/ Connects to USB on Pi and has a 3.5mm analogue/optical out. Very flexible. I dont have this model but I do have two earlier versions and they work very well albeit you do need to up the default volume level in Alsamixer Jim https://jukeradio.double6.net VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* Joggler & Pi4/Khadas -> Onkyo TXNR686 -> Celestion F20s *Office* Joggler & Pi3 -> Denon RCD N8 -> Celestion F10s *Dining Room* SB Radio *Bedroom (Bedside)* Pi Zero+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV) & Bathroom* SB Touch ->Denon AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s + Kef ceiling speakers *Guest Room* Joggler > Topping Amp -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116830 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] Building a house: what would you do for whole-house audio?
It's a good idea to build a country house. Unfortunately, I don't know how you can make the whole house sound. With a question like that, I think you'd better go to a company specializing in residential real estate surveying. I have used https://www.sjonessurveying.co.uk/newcastle-surveyors/ several times before for home surveys. I have always had great communication with the surveyor. His review was outstanding and very detailed, and he provided numerous photos to support it. Thanks to his survey, I was able to resolve all building defects. I am very satisfied, recommend it 100%, and will definitely use it again if needed. voinicel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71909 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113300 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

To use other mode, you need a configuration of LMS to translate codes. Re airplay, I did the shairtunesw plugin and airplay ridge and squeezeamp with its associated firmware but I have disabled (AFAIR) the possibility to turn an airplay/squeezeamp into a SB using the bridge but you can still turn an SB/squeezeamp mode into airplay using shairtunes2w Envoyé de mon iPad en utilisant Tapatalk LMS 8.2 on Odroid-C4 - *SqueezeAMP!*, 5xRadio, 5xBoom, 2xDuet, 1xTouch, 1xSB3.
