Re: [slim] Problems with Mesh Wi-Fi?
If the new mesh router is using WiFi 6, that is the problem. The older radios in the squeeze family don't do well with it. Try turning it off in the router settings and see if it helps. 2 Duets controllers, 1 X Boom, 1 X Radio 1 X Receiver + Edifier S1000DB 1 X Receiver + Yamaha RX-A2000, Polk M70 1 X Receiver + Boston MicroSystem CD Raspberry Pi 3 B+ HiFi Berry Amp2 7" touchscreen PiCorePlayer 7.0 Audioengine A5 ( passive mode ) Raspberry Pi 2 B, HiFiBerry Dac+ & Max2play SqueezeAmp 3 Monsoon MM-700 flat panels + Infinity sub HTC 10 w/ Squeeze Ctrl ReadyNAS 516 LMS 8.2.1 mark wollschlager's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22302 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116929 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

My SB3's PSU has fractured at the plug, and one of my SB2 PSUs has failed (provides voltage until loaded). [slim] Problems with Mesh Wi-Fi?
Sorry if this has been covered - couldn't find it with a quick search so just point me at the thread please. I just replaced my "normal" 4G modem/router + wi-fi range extender with a 5-station TP-Link Deco X20 mesh system to get better signal strength throughout the house. And indeed I have - my various Squeeze devices report better signal strength all round. However, I'm now getting terrible rebuffering - 5 second gaps every 30 seconds of music - especially with FLAC files played from my iMac. Lower-res files (e.g. 320K MP3) cause slightly less problems but still noticeable. Network is optimised according to Deco App and inSSIDer scan looks good. Everything rebooted. I do use SmartDNS but that shouldn't affect local playback should it? Anyone else had the same problems? Any ideas? Re: [slim] Spotty > New Music
Not sure if this has been asked because I don't know what to search for - however I have a couple of what appear to be albums (maybe playlists?) showing up from Spotty in my "New Music" listing. Does anyone know what is going on here? LMS 8 has an "Online Music Library Integration" plugin which would import your collection during the scan. This behaviour can be changed in Settings/Advanced/Online Music... ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
