It's an old version. SlimServer Version: 6.3.1 - 8476 - Debian - EN - utf8 I don't think anything more recent will work on the QNAP TS101, as it has very little memory. It still works great with my SB3. I thought it would be just a case of pointing it at Slim Server. Obviously not. Pretty much as above. I have Slimserver running on an old QNAP TS101 via wifi with a SB3 squeezebox, and want to do the the same with my Galaxy Tab2. The tablet reports playback is on in it's SP app, but when I start the control app it says "player not found. Make sure your player is plugged in and available on the network". Slim server can't see the the android player via it's web interface either. I've entered the server location manually, as the app didn't find it automatically. Any help will be appriciated. [slim] SB3 Bridge question

Before I found out about Slim etc, I was looking at an M1001. I mailed customer support which went like this : Me "so its wifi b then ?" Them "no, its wifi g compatable" Me "but its really b isn't it ?" Them "its g compatable, that's better than g" At which point I gave up and looked at their faq, which stated that that the reason it was 11b was that they could not find a CF wifi g card - so I sent them a link and asked could this be it ? I never heard from them again,but they did me a big favour by helping me to find Slimserver etc. It's funny as what started me off was a wifi feature in PC Pro magazine with the M1001 in it. I'd thought about ordering direct from Slim, but didn't want to have to pay duty, VAT, and chance the wrath of the baggage handler.
