Material Skin is a plug-in that gives you a web interface working perfectly on both computer and mobile. Its actually better than iPeng I bought for $10. When WiFi isn�t working
Okey, so my 8 year old Boom is still with me. It has gone through WiFi from vendors like Check Point, Huawei, Cisco Meraki and now Fortinet. Later two with roaming. ItÂs getting tougher and tougher to let Classic/Boom like WiFi. They often just disconnect or hang. So I just want to share what you have to do to get them running in a modern roaming Fortinet WiFi: 1. ARP suppression must be disabled for broadcast. 2. 802.11b/g channels must be static. b must be enabled. 3. Radio power must be static. 4. 802.11r must be disabled. 5. Load balancing clients must be disabled. 6. Client handover must be disabled. IÂve had it running without issues for 4 months now. Hopefully this will help somebody... [slim] How to play lists have changed?
I noticed a few weeks ago that just pressing play on a list on iPeng wont play the list, I have to long press the album/playlist and select play all from the appearing menu. In the same time, when going from the SB radios menu, adding a playlist or album to a preset button 1-6 wont add the playlist, only the first song in the playlist. Existing presetted albums/playlists also only throws the first song to the players playlist. Do you know if there has been any change in the code (Im on 2.10.2 Nov 2019)? Is there a setting that has been set by mistake? Thank you very much for your support! [slim] Players and WiFi
Ive been struggling with my 2 x Controllers, 2 x Receivers, 3 x Booms, 3 x Radios and 1 x Classic for 6 months now. Its been either DHCP errors, SSID/BSSID errors or broadcast errors. Ive been reading forums like a maniac to find people with similar problems. Now, it has been 100% stable for two weeks. The solution for me was to create a separate SSID only running 2.4 GHz, broadcasting from only one access point, and separate traffic in a dedicated VLAN only containing Squeezebox traffic. Now, Im happy because Squeezebox is still the most versatile multiroom system. If you are struggling with players not willing to connect, or suddenly gets offline, or music stuttering. Try the above and go from there.
