Thanks!

Was to easy

Also found that if you just tap on a song in the album it did the same
thing.

Even more pleased with the app now...

Re: [slim] [ANNOUNCE] iPeng 1.1 now on the AppStore

2009-04-27 Thread Borgen

Hello Pippin,

Super greate app.

I have one question

If I want to play an entire album (not add it to the bottom of the
existing playlist). I select an album in the album list. But how do I
do then to Play the album in the order of the track number?

Noticed that I can change the "tool" in the top of the screen, but when
I use the function that automaticly starts to play the songs (the "play"
arrow) it mixes up the songs and does not play them in the album order.

Is there a way around this or do I first have to clear the current
playlist then add the songs to the playlist and then finnaly go into
the now playing and select play?

Yes the slider is still hard to use, double tap on it helps a bit, but
it still seams to be a rather small area you "have to hit" to be able
to slide the volume control.

Would be better if you not had to have the finger on the little ball on
the volumbar, if you just could slide anywhere on the volumbar and it
would change, just as you do to drag to the playlist or players (drag
left or right anywhere on the coverart)

If I slide my finger up or down on the cover art today nothing hides?

Pippin.

Greate work on the updates, more and more bugs are solved.

I have one issue that I wounder if it is normal behaviour or not.

When I play a song from a album and then skips to the next song the
song starts to play at once but then it takes 7-15 seconds before the
title is changed in the iPeng App.

Then I have another question around the volume control... still hope
that you can do this by the hardware buttons on the iPhone one day. But
could it not be solved in another way, by sliding the finger upward on
the now playing picture to increase the volume and slide it downwards
to decrease the volume? Still keep the display of the volume control on
the bottom of the screen.

Re: [slim] iPeng Application 1.0 now on the App Store

2008-11-25 Thread Borgen

I think I have found a problem in the iPeng app.

In my album collection I have among many other albums "Absolute Music
1-46" (46 different albums).

In the native iPeng under "albums" these are sorted in the wrong order,
first album 24-46 comes up then there are some other albums listed and
then album 1-23 are displayed. See the same sorting problem with alot
of other albums with similar names.

I then tried the web version of iPeng and there everything is sorted in
the correct way, also in the web interface of SqueezeCenter every thing
is sorted in the correct way.

Have previously seen sorting problems in squeezecenter that are running
on a Qnap NAS based on a bug in a version of mySQL which have been
corrected in a later release of mySQL.

Hmmm stupid limitation but then again it is Apple we are talking
about. They cant even spell right in their own applications (and I am
NOT saying that I am a good "speller" english is not my native
language). Saw a post that in the new 2.2 update for the iPhone/iPod
the have spelled Categories in this way "Catagories" in the
iTunes/podcast part.

You can twist and turn this limitation. You could say that the volume
buttons are changing the volume on the iPhone/iPod itself (which it
actually does because the volume meter in the application changes) and
then the application changes the volume on the remote player which
apperently are allowed today because that is what you do today.

Hello Pippin,

One thing that would be an real enhancment to this would be to use the
volume button on the iPhone to change the volume on the remote player.

Saw that you wrote someting about limitations from Apple but many games
uses the volum buttons to change the volume of the sound in the game so
I cant see why Apple not would allow you to use the Volume button in
iPeng to change the volume of the player

Album arts is displayed and the App does not crash anymore!!
