Well, I first transfered my original library and it's all good. 
Now I bought a new CD, that I ripped to flac, on the same pc that I use
for that sort of thing, the excact same way as I always do. The rip is
good and I then transfer it, via a USB pen, to the Music folder on my
musicserver. The file shows up in the folder, but when I scan with
Squeezebox Server it does not show?

So, to answer your question: Thats excactly, what I mean.

This worked fine, but now I can't add new music? 
Should this be done every time I wish to add music?

Super perfect. 
I've been struggeling with this half the night and this solved the
puzzle.
Man, this ubuntu takes some getting used to, but now my Squeezeserver
is up and runnung and I'm really glad i took the plunge. 
Man, it's so cool not being forced to run Windows on this little Atom
music server.

I AM JUST OVER THE MOON...!!! ( Caps intentional:-))
