Re: [slim] No sound from SB3

2014-03-21 Thread Bustofa

I know some time has passed since the original post but I have a similar
issue: looks like music is playing but no sound. Tried the fix mentioned
here but no luck. Has anybody any ideas please?

Re: [slim] Powerline Ethernet

2008-09-07 Thread Bustofa

I am using mine on separate rings without problem. Speed does tend to
vary between devices - I have one connected to my router and three
others - but is fine for music.

Re: [slim] Pause/Previous/Next buttons not working on controller (7.0.1 r2147) ?

2008-06-22 Thread Bustofa

Realise that I'm joining this debate a little late but I have the same
problem with my Duet Controller, which is curently running official
release 7.0.1 r2448.
Executing the Keypad Factory test reveals that the:

- 'Previous' button also lights up the '+' and 'Back' buttons;
- 'Next' lights up 'Play' and
- 'Pause' lights up 'Volume Up' and 'Volume Dowm'

[slim] Re: Does Slimserver download cover?

2005-06-06 Thread Bustofa

I am similarly puzzled by the appearance of cover art for some, and only
some, of my own ripped CDs. Like others I am also confused.
Michael's explanation seems logical but I am using EAC and I didn't
think that it downloaded cover art.
I already have a comprehensive set of cover art linked to a separate CD
database but the images are large; full-sized. I would appreciate
hearing how Richard gets on and from anyone else who can offer advice
on how I could link my MP3 albums into my existing collection of album
art - without copying images.

Chris

[slim] Switching Between Servers

Does anyone know of a way of quickly changing the Slimserver used by a
Squeezebox without going through the whole set-up sequence again?

[slim] Re: New Buffalo Linkstation and Slimserver

2005-04-10 Thread Bustofa

Couldn't say for sure what version is current where, but I have only
recently purchased a Linkstation in the UK and it worked fine with
SlimServer. Out of the box the Linkstation was running firmware version
1.44 and I believe that you can successfully run SS on firmware versions
up to 1.45.
