Re: [slim] SrvrPowerCtrl stopped working
Delete all signs of the plugin and installed from scratch. All working now but still unable to have any clues of what went wrong. Let me add that on Feb22 there was an LMS update that changed the ownership of some elements including SrvrPowerCtrl. I managed to grab a copy of the update warning which I pasted to the attached text file. It may be the cause of the problem I am reporting. [slim] SrvrPowerCtrl stopped working
Suddenly, with no server modifications whatsoever other than the actual updates the SrvrPowerCtrl stopped working. I cannot trace the problem. When trying to find the cause and in order to speed the process I crossed out all System Idle Monitor checks and set the Allowed Idle Time to its minimum accepted, that is 5minutes. [slim] Backup script recommended for a Linux headless user
I used to run LMS on a Vortexbox Fedora machine until I had a really major problem. Due to my stupid rush I lost all my files and respective backup. And I am the only one to blame!!! I had to start everything from scratch. This time I went for a headless Ubuntu setup which is working fine. I do not miss Vortexbox except for its backup script. Is there a similar script or another simple solution which I can adapt for running with my present setup? Any help would be appreciated. Re: [slim] Is there a way to avoid same artist being listed twice
Merger, thanks for the not so good news. I'll try and create an action in Mp3tag to address the accents part of the problem. [slim] Is there a way to avoid same artist being listed twice
My apologies if this subject has already been addressed elsewhere. I simply could not find it. Is there a way to avoid LMS treating cases like the examples below as different artists, entities - Marian Mcpartland and Marian McPartland - Antônio Carlos Jobim, António Carlos Jobim or Antonio Carlos Jobim In short, not to differentiate between capital and lowercase and also between the several types of accents for the same character. Any suggestion would be appreciated DuLac's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59616 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115957 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
